My name is Naser Al Mansouri. I was born in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. When I was a teenager I dreamed of being a pilot but I didn’t get the chance, so I changed my mind because I did not get high marks in my school. I worked for GASCO Company for two years then they gave me a study leave at HCT. After I graduate form HCT I’ll join my company again and work hard to get promoted and grades. I would like to travel over the world with my friends to discover. I have two diving licenses which allow me to dive everywhere in the world and I am taking more diving lessons to be an instructor. My favorite sport is riding Jet Skis. I have 4 horses I take care of them and every weekend go to the farm in the Al Khatem that on the way of Al Ain.

What Is The GLOBAL WARMING

Climate change is any substantial change in Earth’s climate that lasts for an extended period of time. Global warming is an observed increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Part of this increase may be due to natural processes, and would have occurred independently of human activity. It is also one of the biggest problems facing the world today. Many scientists believe that our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases has a heating effect on the atmosphere, and this could be very dangerous for human life. A rise in the temperature may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a rise in sea level, and a wide range of impacts on plants, wildlife, and humans. When scientists talk about the issue of climate change, their concern is about global warming caused by human activities.

Causes Of Global Warming

There are many factors contribute rising of the global warming phenomena. One of them is the enormous number of people on the earth helps to rise the temperature on it. Especially in the modern countries, because it classify as industrial country. As a result of that, people needs are increasing more than before. For example, these countries establish more factories to cover those needs without care of the air polluted. Also, the development transfer the things which are in the past secondary things to be main things presently like cars which release big amount of Carbon Oxide and other gases when the petroleum burning in it. In addition, the greenhouses are considers as one of the biggest causes of the global warming related to their wok method. So the water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane assist to heat the earth, because they keep the sunbeams and prevent them back to earth's atmosphere.

Caused By Climate Change

Earth's climate has changed dramatically many times in the past and will almost certainly change many times in the future. Burning coal, oil and natural gas releases carbon dioxide gas into the atmosphere. On average, this may warm the earth and change the climate in other ways. Other human activities, such as cutting down forests, and growing rice, and raising cattle, may have the same effect, but are less important. A large or fast change in climate will have a big effect on plants and animals in the natural environment. Very rapid climate change is unlikely, but could be disastrous, even for wealthy countries.

Rising Sea Level

The most important effect of global warming is the rising of the sea level. There is a little doubt is that the earth is heating up the study shows that the temperature of last century different than cretin time. If the Greenland ice sheet were to melt the, earth’s sea level will go up from 8 to 10 meters. Therefore many seaports and coastlines would be flooded. If the Antarctic ice sheet melted, Earth's oceans would rise by 100 meters. The result of this low lying area will submerged. Netherlands will be completely under the sea and nobody know where Singapore will be!!

UAE & Global Warming

International Day for Biological Diversity is carried out every year ion May22. Plants and animals belonging to UAE will be affected seriously by climate change. The affect of global warming is already including the coral and some kind of fish. As we know that is UAE is desert country and have particular type on animals and plants are endemic to the area and need to be protected. Saif Al Qais, a marine biology professor at the Al Ain was a member in conference says the Arabian Leopard in the UAE become very rare in the mountains.

UAE Against Global Warming

UAE government did a very good step to reduce or to save the world from quick global warming and reduce the CO2 levels. First of all, they produce Unleaded Gas Oil as cars fuel; they build a big and huge unit in the Ruwais Refinery to produce Unleaded Gas Oil. They increase the number of agriculture lands all over the country; huge amount of money were spent to greenest the desert. Even the privet company like Carrefour Store changes the shopping bags from plastic to paper to reduce the poisons gases while burning the waste staff. The UAE Government makes advertisement for their people to alert them from using much water, electricity or cooker. There are also big positive step is that they are going to use solar energy which is good to use the nature sources.
